This phone runs on the Snapdragon 652 SOC and has 4 GB of RAM. It has 128GB of internal storage, 3,200 mAh Battery and supports Qualcomm Quickcharge 3.0. This phone is a rebrand of Qiku 360 Q5.

At a budget of Rs. 24,999, we generally expect companies to use a flagship processor in their smartphones, which is not the case here. At 25K, I expected it to have at least Snapdragon 653 if not Snapdragon 820 but it runs of Snapdragon 652. I feel that the processor should have been better in this budget as LeEco Le 2, Mi Max Prime, Coolpad Cool 1 also run on Snapdragon 652 and are priced much lower. But still, Snapdragon 652 is known to be very powerful and there will not be any lag in the performance.
It runs on Adreno 510 GPU has 4GB of RAM so you can expect very good gaming performance. But at the same time, you may observe some heat due to throttling issues in Snapdragon 652. As Snapdragon 652 is manufactured using the 28nm manufacturing process, the phone will not be the best when it comes to the power efficiency. Phones like Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo P2 and Redmi Note 4 are way ahead of it in terms of Battery life. But the good thing about Micromax Dual 5 is that it supports Quickcharge 2.0 technology
Coming to the Camera, it certainly has a very good camera. Both the front and the dual rear camera are best in class. The Sony IMX258 Sensor ensures that you capture awesome photographs.
When we talk about design and display, the phone does pretty well. It has good built quality as well as good design. Full HD Super AMOLED Display is all one can wish at 25K and not to forget the 2.5D Curved Glass which adds a premium feel to the phone.
Final Ratings: 7/10
At Rs. 24,999, the phone is overpriced without any doubt. If it was priced at 20K, the ratings would have been higher. The price to performance ratio of this phone compared to other devices in the similar range is poor. This is all we have to say in our Micromax Dual 5 Review.
In this budget, I’ll recommend you these smartphones instead:
- Mi 5
- OnePlus 3
- Lenovo P2
- Moto G5 Plus
